  Orion Crop Protection Limited is an independent 100% New Zealand owned company specialising in the manufacture, sales and marketing of a range of crop protection products for use in modern farming systems. While Orion is one of the few New Zealand crop protection companies that still develop formulations specifically for New Zealand conditions, it still has global associations to enable delivery of cutting edge solutions.  

  Sylon^Ò,  New Zealand's leading maize herbicide is one example of Orion Crop Protections success in developing world class solutions for New Zealand farmers.  In 2006 Orion Crop Protection introduced Callisto^®, a new generation maize herbicide containing mesotrione, to the New Zealand market after its unprecedented success in America. Orion operates from modern facilities and all local manufacturing and production processes are undertaken to ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.  

  As a member of AGCARM (The New Zealand Association for Animal Health and Crop Protection), Orion promotes the responsible use of crop protection products as an integral part of high yield sustainable agriculture.
